Questions to ask before choosing a collectible.

Confirm which card is offered

Check the year, set, card number, language, and variant against the photos. Different printings can look similar. Ask for clarification whenever the title and photographs disagree.

Look for evidence of condition

Read the seller’s description and examine both sides of the card. Request clear close-ups if important details are missing. A certification number alone does not prove that a photograph or physical item is genuine.

Understand the terms

Read shipping costs, delivery terms, and the return policy before agreeing to buy. Keep the item description and agreed terms together. Avoid assuming that every platform or payment method offers the same dispute process.

Consider the seller’s history

Distinguish verified transaction reviews from follower counts or profile badges. A new seller may simply have limited history. Ask specific questions and be comfortable with the evidence before proceeding.
