Let your cards tell the whole story.
A practical checklist for clearer listing photos.

Photograph the exact card you intend to sell. A catalog image can help identify a card, but it cannot show the condition of your copy. Keep all identifying details visible.
Show front, back, and details
Use a plain background and soft, even light. Fill the frame without cropping the edges. Add close-ups of corners, surface scratches, whitening, creases, and any other wear. Tilt the card under the light to reveal reflective surface marks.
Keep the description consistent
Describe visible wear in plain language. If a card is graded, show the holder and label clearly, and transcribe the grading company, grade, and certification number exactly. Do not describe an ungraded card as a guaranteed future grade.
Review before listing
Compare the photos and description. Can a buyer identify the set and card number? Are imperfections visible? Remove filters or edits that hide condition. Keep original photos available in case a buyer requests another angle.
